Why we built Sytrex

Underwriting is a craft. Reading a risk, judging an appetite, defending a price — that's the work humans should be doing. Triaging email, copy-pasting fields between PDFs and spreadsheets, chasing capacity across markets — that is not.

We started Sytrex in 2024 to put AI agents on the boring half of underwriting and give the craft back to underwriters.
